The Visual Arts Academy was created in 2007 by the Arts Council of Wilson. Its mission is to promote the visual arts among middle and high school students in Wilson County. The curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire dedicated art students. The Arts Council of Wilson is excited to be partnering with the Barton College Department of Art and Design. Each semester will include instruction in drawing, painting and other mediums. Local Artists will provide Instruction.
We appreciate Wells Fargo for their support of the Visual Arts Academy.
