Performing Arts Classes

Have you ever wanted to know how a costume goes from being a piece of cloth to becoming a wonderful work of art on stage? The Arts Council of Wilson through the ACT! for Youth program sponsors a variety of classes to teach students these skills and many more. Enroll in a Performing Arts Class and start your jounrey to stardom.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 p.m.

$35 for non-contributors/ $25 for contributors

This spring, Performing Arts Director Christopher A. Ballance will be teaching Advanced Acting.  This class is available to students from all over as well as those who have participated in the ACT! for Youth program. If you are interested in taking Advanced Acting, you must have taken Acting 1 with Mr. Ballance (or an equivalent course in another program). This class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 p.m.  It starts on February 6th and will run until the end of May. The cost is $35 for non-contributors to the Arts Council of Wilson and $25 for contributors.
