Whether you are planning a huge social function or a small business meeting, the Arts Council of Wilson maintains rental facilities that can accommodate your needs for any special occasion. The Arts Council offers spacious accommodations for small business meetings and parties to large groups (approximately 400 people). In addition, the ACW has a theatre with seating for 640 people, ideal for occasions such as lectures, business meetings, training workshops, presentations, government campaigns, dance and music lessons, recitals, weddings, receptions, parties and other corporate or social gatherings. Tables, chairs and glasses are also available for rental.

Renter agrees to secure three (3) people to cover fire watch during every event where attendance could exceed 100

Equipment Rental / Setup

Wine & Hi-ball Glasses: $0.25 per glass

7-Hr Excess Fee

All Wilson Arts Center rentals must be over no later than 11 p.m. All Boykin Center rentals must be over no later than 12 a.m. At the signing of the contract, the renter may purchase additional hours at 10% of the rental fee for each additional hour prior to 11 p.m. A charge of 20% of the rental fee will be assessed for each hour after 11pm for Wilson Arts Center and 12 a.m. for Boykin Center or of excess of the 7 hours not purchased in advance. Rentals are not allowed to proceed after 1 a.m. Renters, caterers, audience members, actors, etc. are to be cleared of the facility before 1 a.m.

Rental Fees are based on a 7-hour block of time which includes all set up and clean up time. Should the renter go over the designated block of time, a fee of 20% of the rental fee will be assessed for each additional hour and will be deducted from the renter's security deposit if the renter, their guests, or caterers exceed the block set forth above for any reason, unless such excess is agreed to, in advance, in writing, by the Office Manager or Theater Coordinator.

Holiday Surcharge

An additional fee of $25 per hour will be added to every rental occurring on an Arts Council of Wilson observed holiday.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of 50% of the rental rate is due at the time of reservation and is refundable upon satisfactory inspection of the facility following rental usage. The Arts Council of Wilson does not accept personal checks for rentals. ACW does accept VISA and MasterCard, cash, money orders and certified checks.
(Security Deposit is NOT part of the rental fee)

+Rental fee is due no later than thirty (30) days prior to usage.
