May 13 at 7:30
Entry Deadline: April 18

This spring, the Arts Council of Wilson will be hosting a talent show as a fundraiser to support its performing arts programming. The talent show, which will have participants in three age categories (Elementary, Middle, and High School), will be held at the Edna Boykin Cultural Center on May 13th.
Performing Arts Director Christopher Ballance, who is organizing the fundraiser, suggests that students who are looking to participate should prepare a piece that is no longer than two and a half minutes in length, in one of the following categories: vocal solo/vocal duet, vocal group, instrumental solo/duet, instrumental group, gymnastics solo/duet, gymnastics group, dance solo/duet, and dance group. Acts should not contain any profanity, and all music used in any act needs to be approved by the Performing Arts Director before students can be cleared to participate in the talent show.
The deadline for talent show entry is April 18th, and all entry forms must be turned into the Performing Arts Director by that date. Each entry will pay a fee of $20. Tickets to the event will be $10 for adults, students, and seniors.
