The Arts Council of Wilson is pleased to announce that the seashell art of local businessman Earl Boykin will be featured in the Boykin Center Hammond Gallery October 22nd through December 31st.  Earl, an avid seashell collector around the Pine Knoll Shores area, has transformed his sizable collection of shells into 50 to 60 works of art.  Utilizing old family farmhouse window frames, Earl painstakingly applies the collected ocean treasures to the frames using ordinary Elmer’s glue.  His art has been shown at the Pine Knolls Public Library as well as the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.
