Picasso Exhibit at VMFA Inspires!
Twenty-two art lovers traveled to Richmond, Va. on April 12 to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. There they saw an exhibit of Picasso's works, which were on loan from The Musee National Picasso in Paris. This collection represents the artist's personal selections - works that he kept with the intent of creating his own artistic legacy. Spanning most of the 20th century, his work responded to wars, the Modernists revolution, as well as a tumultuous personal life. We thank Barbara Barshay for arranging our trip, which included a lovely catered lunch in the Marble Hall at the museum.
